Aztec Coin Ring Mayan Calendar (Sun stone) Coinring Silver or Copper token Jewelry

Ring made from a 1 troy ounce fine 99.99% silver bullion (also offered in copper) coin/token based on the Aztec/Mayan Calendar stone, also called the Sun Stone, which is on display at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. The calendar consisted of a 365-day calendar cycle called xiuhpōhualli (year count) and a 260-day ritual cycle called tōnalpōhualli (day count). These two cycles together formed a 52-year “century”, sometimes called the “calendar round”. The weight of the finished ring is around 21 to 25 grams.

As with all jewelry there will be a few people whose skin may react to a particular type of metal and cause a harmless green color when the piece is worn. Other people may have an actual allergy to one type of metal or another. If a reaction happens, you may need to wear the ring for a while to get the skin use to it or try applying clear fingernail polish to the inside of the ring.

Add engraving to this ring for $10. I can do one name, something very short like "♥ u Curt", or one date. The engraving will be on the inside of the ring.

Pure silver is soft. I would advise to only wear pure silver rings as a statement piece. A night out (show it off).
